Burning Ground - Released July 12 2024
Burning Ground is Jordan's second album and first album with producer Gregg Leonard. The album was recorded in three different places across the South Island of New Zealand , and inspired by a reflection of the last 7 years of Jordan's life.
The album plays like a series of diary entries, with spoken word tracks accompanying Jordan's upbeat rough and raw acoustic rock. A very self reflective album, Jordan wanted this album to be laid bare for the listener to experience greater intimacy with the voice and lyrics . The listener will be taken on a rollercoaster from heart wrenching tracks such as can i ever stay? (track 6) to harder hitting acoustic ballads such as standing in my sun (track 3).
A collection of songs that Jordan is extremely proud of, for their honesty, and vulnerability.

Jordan - "Burning Ground has been quite the rollercoaster to birth into the world! I've had my doubts along the way, my patience often waning like a candle flame at the conclusion of a nights work. I've wrestled with the process, often gripping the creative bull by the horns, only to realise that the act of release, of surrender, was when my best work would occur.
There are lessons in these songs. Musings and questions that I still don't have the answer to, and perhaps I never will. My song writing is often born out of a place of unknown. And until I know the answers, these songs will continue to be written, continue to be sung, in celebration of all the mystery and wonder there is, in this life."
