Burning Ground - Out Now!

Recorded in three different bedrooms across the South Island of New Zealand, Burning Ground has been quite the rollercoaster to birth into the world. I've had my doubts along the way, my patience often waning like a candle flame at the conclusion of a nights work. I've wrestled with the process, often gripping the creative bull by the horns, only to realise that the act of release, of surrender, was when my best work would occur. There are lessons in these songs. Musings and questions that I still don't have the answer to, and perhaps I never will. My songwriting is often born out of a place of unknown. And until I know the answers, these songs will continue to be written, continue to be sung, in celebration of all the mystery and wonder there is, in this life.
